Wooden Toys, Toys made from Sustainable Material
There is no comparable trade fair with a dedicated focus on this product area
Wooden toys have always been an integral part of early childhood development and are classics in the nursery. At Spielwarenmesse, their diversity takes centre stage - complemented by the growing trend towards natural and resource-saving materials.
In addition to high-quality wood, established brands such as HABA, Djeco, Gollnest & Kiesel, Hape and Janod as well as creative start-ups will also be presenting innovative toys made from bioplastics, recycled materials and sustainable alternatives such as cardboard or cork.
Whether traditional or modern interpretations – the products on show combine well thought-out design, durable materials and added educational value. They are aimed at an international audience that values quality, environmental awareness and responsible consumption.

What our participants are saying
As an SME, we‘re not in a position to be on the lookout for new products everywhere and at all times. Because of this, events such as the Spielwarenmesse present a special opportunity for us as they allow us to meet new vendors and get ideas for our range in a short space of time.
Jean-François Vezia, President, Le Bonhomme de Bois, visitor from France
We had new potential customers at the booth in particular, from Germany, but also from Asia and the USA. The timing of the Spielwarenmesse is ideal for us. The fair is a valuable platform for us to cultivate relationships with our with our customers and to generate new contacts. Thanks to the neighboring booths, which have a similar customer base to ours, we generate additional synergy effects.
